Privacy Policy

SAJU FIVE ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

This policy applies to all users of the SAJU FIVE web application at saju-five.com and is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where applicable.

Information you provide directly:

• Birth date (year, month, day) — required for Saju calculation
• Birth time (optional) — used for more precise readings
• Gender — used for Saju interpretation context
• Email address — only when you sign in via Google or other OAuth providers
• Dream descriptions — when you use the Dream Reading feature (not stored on our servers)

Information collected automatically:

• Device type, browser, and general location (country-level) via standard web logs
• Usage patterns (features accessed, session duration) for service improvement
• Payment transaction metadata via Paddle (we never see your card details)

We use your information to:

• Calculate your Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny) based on your birth data
• Generate AI-powered fortune readings personalized to your data
• Process payments and manage Ki credit balances
• Authenticate your account and maintain session security
• Send transactional emails (purchase receipts, account notices) if you are signed in
• Improve and maintain the Service

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, use your data for targeted advertising, or share it with data brokers.

Your data is processed and stored through the following trusted providers:

• Supabase — authentication and user account data (hosted on AWS, GDPR-compliant)
• Anthropic Claude — AI reading generation; your birth data and dream text are sent to Anthropic's API for processing and are subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy
• Paddle — payment processing; card data is handled solely by Paddle and never touches our servers
• Vercel — web hosting and edge network delivery

Reading results and Saju profiles are stored in your browser's localStorage and are not uploaded to our servers unless you are signed in.

We use browser localStorage and sessionStorage to cache your reading results and preferences locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser without your action.

We use authentication cookies set by Supabase for session management when you are signed in. These are strictly necessary cookies and do not track advertising activity.

Local data (Saju profiles, cached readings) remains in your browser until you clear it. Account data (email, Ki balance) is retained as long as your account is active.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@saju-five.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected
• Deletion — request erasure of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to processing of your data for certain purposes
• Opt-out (CCPA) — California residents may opt out of the sale of personal data (note: we do not sell personal data)

SAJU FIVE is not directed to individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify signed-in users of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
